The Blackview BV5800 is an affordable, water-proof rugged smartphone with full 4G connectivity. The phone sports a 5.5-inch HD+ display, a 64bit MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. The rugged smart phone supports NFC (Near Field Communication) for mobile payments and is water and dust proof. Thanks to 5V/2A fast charge the big battery can be charged 2 times faster than the iPhone X charger.
The display of the BV5800 is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The body is made of soft plastic and metal and extremely durable. It is IP68 certified and therefore waterproof, dustproof and shockproof. Under the hood is a quad-core MTK6739 with up to 1.5GHz clock speed. The chipset is supported by 2GB of RAM and an expandable internal storage of 16GB ROM. The internal memory can be expanded by up to 128GB.
You can capture stunning Bokeh effect images with the dual camera on the rear of the rugged mobile. The BV58000 has a 13MP Sony IMX134 sensor and a secondary 8-megapixel camera lens, including dual LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Thanks to IP68 certification the phone can even take pictures and videos under water.
The rugged smartphone has a large battery with a capacity of 5,580mAh. The phone supports Fast Charge technology (5V/2A). The only difference to the BV5800 Pro is that the normal version of the rugged phone does not support Qi wireless charging. Furthermore, it sports a set of different outdoor function sensors like a compass, gyroscope, etc. Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi and NFC. In terms of 4G connectivity, all important frequencies and bands are supported. The phone runs the latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box.
