In Russia and China, the dashcam already belongs to fixed Auto Equipment. Car cameras continue to become increasingly popular beyond the borders of these two countries since records can be used on trial as evidence in order to clarify the question of guilt.

The Chupad X7 DVR Cam has a motion sensor which ensures that the video recording starts as soon as something moves in front of the lens. Also on board is a sensor for collision detection in which the impact intensity can be selected and set in g-forces. The mini camera is easily placed with a supplied suction cup on the windshield. The charging cable is conntected to the cigarette lighter power plug (Input: DC 12V-24V; Output: DC 5V 1A).

Another advantage of the Dash-Cam is that the recording is continuously known as loop recording. After the preselected time (1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 minutes) or if the storage limit is reached, the video recording restarts and overwrites the existing video files. The Chupad dashcam features the "SOS Lock Video". In this case, the previously recorded image and video material will be locked automatically if there was an accident. The data is protected and can be used later as evidence.

The Chupad X7 car camera also uses the WDR technology (WDR = Wide Dynamic Range). This technology supports an advanced color mapping, whereby the image better adapts to the light conditions and shooting in low light are also more detail. Photos can be shot with the DVR car camera in a range of 1.3 megapixels to 12.0 megapixels.

The X7 Dash cam of Chupad also has an integrated microphone and a loudspeaker. The dashcam doesn't need to hide behind other popular car camera brands such as BlackVue, iTracker, Garmin, Rollei or Transcend.
