The Oppo R11s is the new 18:9 flagship mobile phone of the Chinese manufacturer, which has outpaced its competition including its subsidiary VIVO on the domestic market. The high-end smartphone has, compared to the previous model R11, three major changes. The 6.01-inch display comes in 18:9 aspect ratio. The fingerprint reader, as with the OnePlus 5T, has been moved on the back. Furthermore, the cameras were further improved, e.g. with f/1.7 aperture and the new AI beauty mode. In terms of operating system, the R11s runs with the latest ColorOS.
The Oppo R11s has a large 6-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution (FHD+). The necessary power is provided by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with up to 2.2GHz. As GPU the phone packs a Qualcomm Adreno 512. There are 4GB of RAM and the internal memory of 64GB can be expanded with a microSD by an extra 256GB.
The Oppo R11's dual camera has a 16 megapixel sensor, paired with a 20 MP sensor for shooting in low-light conditions. Both camera lenses have a f/1.7 aperture and the autofocus captures the best moments in brilliant clarity. The front camera has 20 megapixels and comes with a large number of beauty modes.
The phone supports six different 4G FDD-LTE frequencies, as well as Dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The built-in battery with 3205mAh is, as usual, charged with VOOC fast charging technology. The R11s runs on Android 7.1 out of the box, with the latest ColorOS skin on top. The smartphone is available in black, gold and red.
