The 5-inch IPS display of the Ulefone Metal has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The slightly rounded glass on top of the screen is Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Thus it is better protected against scratches and other mishaps. Inside the Ulefone Metal works a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor. The 8 cores are clocked at 1.3GHz and supported by a Mali T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The internal memory hosts 16 GB and can be extended with a microSD card by another 128 GB. This is enough space to enjoy the great audio chip at full range and save hours of music on your device and memory card.
Both cameras offer 13 MP rear and 5 MP front (both interpolated). The main camera on the back is equipped with the Sony IMX149 sensor. The camera is i.a. also equipped with a LED flash and autofocus. Also on the back is the fingerprint scanner. It can be easily reached and unlock the mobile phone within 0.5 seconds. With the built-in rechargeable battery with 3050mAh, and the power-saving display and processor, you can operate the Ulefone Metal under normal use for two days. Should it be a little short on power you can charge the device using the quick charge function (Quick Charge) and recharge it in just a few minutes.
The Ulefone Metal runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Besides 4G LTE FDD, inter alia, with band 20 and 800MHz, the metal provides a range of sensors OTG, HotKnot, Miracast, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and a digital compass.
