The Vernee Mars comes with a Helio P10 processor with eight cores and 4GB of RAM. On the back of the Vernee Mars the antenna bands have been bent which looks like the rear of the iPhone 7. The back is also covered with 98% of metal, which has a positive effect on the feel of the phone. The 5.5-inch screen is nearly bezel-less and has only 1mm bezel. The third smartphone from Vernee supports again all LTE frequencies that are needed for Europe.
The 5.5-inch screen of Vernee Mars occupies approximately 80% of the entire front face of the smartphone and is a full InCell LCD display with FullHD resolution and a viewing angle of 178°. Like the Meizu MX6 TDDI technology from Sharp is used, whereby the handset reacts more quickly to touches. As CPU MediaTek Helio P10 is used. The 8-core processor has a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz and is supported by the Mali-T860 MP4 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. The top model Vernee Mars Pro will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio P20 and 6GB RAM. The internal memory amounts to 32 gigabytes and can be expanded via hybrid slot by another 128GB.
The rear camera is equipped with a 13 megapixel Sony IMX258 with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. On the front is a 5 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls via Skype, Whatsapp or Google Duo available. Another highlight is the side-mounted fingerprint scanner like the Sony Xperia Z5 has. This makes it even easier and faster to unlock your smartphone. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi (a/b/g/n), a gyroscope for use of VR goggles, the compass and the screen Wake gestures. The operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow and OTA updates will be available. The cell phone has also a RGB LED notification light on board.
