Moaan inkPad X is an eBook reader introduced by the Xiaomi sub-brand. The Xiaomi Moaan inkPad X has an e-ink panel with 10 inches and a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixel. The body of the e-reader measures 237.1 x 172 x 7.4 mm and a weight of 358 g.
The Moaan inkPad X features a 10 inch E-Ink Carta HD display with anti-reflective glass and the possibility to let you set 24 ranges of brightness and to regulate the lighting, e.g. for a more pleasant reading experience at night. Underneath the physique is an ARM quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, paired with 2 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32 GB of eMMC internal memory.
On the connectivity side, the Xiaomi Moaan inkPad X packs an USB Type-C port, dual band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. In addition, the e-book reading device sports an additional speaker and a MEMS microphone (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System). The operating system is Android 8.1 Oreo, but the OS comes with heavy customization.
The Xiaomi Moaan inkPad X packs a 3,800 mAh battery supporting a maximum charging speed of 10W. Thanks to the energy-efficient screen you can enjoy 45 days of battery life in standby mode. Please note, that the Xiaomi Moaan inkPad X is produced primarily for the Chinese language market. It has an English option that you can use the E-Ink screen device to read English e-books, PDF files or Android applications.
