On the World Book Day 2020 HiSense has officially announced the long awaited Hisense A5C with color ink screen. In addition, HiSense has also revealed the HiSense A5 Pro and HiSense A5 Pro CC. The color e-ink screen reading smartphone sports a 5.84 inch energy-saving display with 4096 different colors. The HiSense A5C is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and comes 4GB RAM and 64GB flash memory.
Thanks to the new type of color electronic paper technology, the HiSense A5C screen can display 4096 kinds of rich colors. The 5.84-inch HD+ screen has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and it is ideal for reading an ebook. Like with any other ebook reader or kindle device, the screen has a low refresh rate with ghosting effect. The SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage 64GB.
The HiSense A5C has a microSD card slot, microUSB charging port, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, OTG, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a large 4000mAh battery with 5V/2A charging support. The HiSense A5C sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash on the back. The operating system of the HiSense A5C color ink phone is Android 9 Pie OS.
