The Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition comes as an affordable alternative to the Honor 9. The Honor 9 Youth Edition (aka Honor 9 Lite) comes with a brilliant 5.65-inch screen. The Honor 9 Youth Edition is the first quad-camera model Huawei's sub-brand. Key specs include Kirin 659 SoC, dual camera setup on both back and front and a Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is available in four different colors and comes with 3GB/32GB, 4/32GB and 4GB/64GB memory configurations.

The Huawei handset sports a 5.65-inch 2.5D full-screen with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels. It is powered by a Kirin 659 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.36GHz and Mali T830-MP2. There are three different versions available with 3GB and 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage. With the SIM hybrid slot, the storage can be expanded by an additional 256GB.

On the back of the device, there are two camera sensors with 13 and 2-megapixel. The same applies for the front side of the phone. Phase detection autofocus (PDAF), bokeh effect, HDR and many more shooting modes are supported.

A 3,000mAh non-removable battery is also on board the Honor 9 Lite. The phone offers support for Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS, Beidou, Glonass and 4G VoLTE. Dual SIM support is included as well. The bottom of the smartphone is home to a microUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Finally, the Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition runs on EMUI8.0 based on Android 8.0.
