With the Nokia 9 PureView HMD Global has released a new Nokia flagship smartphone with five rear cameras to pursue photographic perfection. The Nokia 9 PureView Android phone sports a 2K+ OLED screen, 6GB of RAM and is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor. On the rear, there are five Sony sensors, all 12-megapixels with 1.25µm pixels, sitting behind Zeiss lenses. The Nokia 9 PureView also features an under-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Qi Wireless charging and is IP67 rated.

The display of the Nokia 9 PureView itself is a 5.99-inch 2K OLED panel with an integrated in-display fingerprint sensor. The premium phone is made of series 6000 aluminium with Corning Gorilla Glass on front and back. Under the hood, it is powered by a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core chipset and 6GB of RAM. For storage, the Nokia 9 PureView sports 128GB of internal memory.

The biggest highlight is its penta-lens camera. Unlike other multi-camera phones, like the LG V40 or Samsung’s Galaxy S10, the Nokia 9 PureView uses the same key specs for all five cameras: each camera sensor has 12 megapixel and an f/1.8 aperture lens. Two of those five cameras shoot in color and the other three are monochrome. On the front is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter supporting a face unlock system. With the Android phone you can record 4K HDR videos with spatial audio capture for that extra layer of immersion.

The battery comes with a capacity of 3320mAh and can be charged by Qi Wireless charging as well as Quick Charging via cable. In terms of connectivity the Nokia 9 PureView supports network speeds LTE Cat 16 4x4 MIMO, dual band wi-fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth 5.0. An e-compass, GPS/A-GPS, Glonass and Beidou are also on board. In the audio department it features Qualcomm aptX for high audio playback quality over Bluetooth speakers and earphones. The Nokia 9 PureView comes loaded with Android 9 Pie OS.
