The new Oppo A1 features a 5.7-inch HD+ display and face unlock. It is fueled by a MediaTek MT6763T with 2.5 GHz clock speed, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It comes in three stylish colors, namely Cherry Red, Dark Blue and Pearl White.
The 5.7-inch TFT screen is framed by a metal unibody and has a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The elegant phone is powered by a fast MTK6763T with up to 2.5GHz clock speed. The graphics unit is an ARM Mali G71 MP2 and there are 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM available. The internal storage can be expanded by an independent TF card slot up to 128GB. On the camera front Oppo has waived a dual camera. The A1 packs a 13-MP rear CMOS sensor and an 8-MP front facing camera both with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is also used to unlock the smartphone with face ID. Videos are recorded with up to 3120x4160 pixels. Like the Oppo A83 the phone does not come with a fingerprint sensor.
Other features of the Oppo A1 include 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The sensors include Proximity sensor, Light sensor and Acceleration sensor. The phone is juiced by a 3180mAh battery. It is running ColorOS 3.2, based on Android 7.1.1.
