The latest model of Oppo’s mid-range A-series features a texture rear panel and a 6.2-inch screen. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core chipset, 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 506 GPU. On the rear is a dual camera setup and the front-facing camera is supported by artificial intelligence (AI). 4G connectivity and a large 4230 mAh battery are on board as well.
The Oppo A5 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ notch display with 720×1520 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and 87.9 percent screen-to-body ratio with 2.5D curved glass panel. The phone is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It has 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
Concerning optics, the phone sports 13MP+2MP dual camera setup at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and f/2.4 aperture, respectively. The rear camera also boasts an LED flash. On the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture, and AI-assisted beautify features that are capable of mapping up to 296 facial features.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS / A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
