The most affordable model of the three new Reno 6 series phones is the Oppo Reno 6 5G. The phone comes with a 6.43 inch AMOLED display and is powered by the Dimensity 900 5G 6nm octa-core chipset. The design with flat frames reminds one of the Apple iPhone 5. The Oppo Reno 6 5G has a total of four cameras, with a triple rear camera setup. The battery capacity is 4,300mAh and it gets charged in no time with the speedy 65W Super VOOC charging.
It comes with a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The Oppo Reno 6 5G has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7% and 2400x1080 pixel resolution (410ppi). The AMOLED panel supports 93.28% DCI-P3 color gamut, 16.7 million colors, and a peak brightness of 750nit. In addition, the screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 tempered glass. The Android phone is powered by a 64bit MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core chipset with up to 2.4GHz clock speed. The processor is supported by up to 12GB of RAM and an ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU for graphics. The cheapest phone of the Reno 6 series is available with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM, and 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
On the back, there is a triple-camera system, including a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with fixed focus. Photo shooting modes include night scene, professional, panoramic, portrait, time-lapse photography, slow motion, and super text. You can record videos with 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps/30fps. The 32-megapixel selfie camera is located at the punch hole at the top left corner of the display. The selfie shooter has an aperture of f/2.4 aperture and 85° Field-of-View (FOV).
