The manufacturer Nomu is a novice on the smartphone market and specializes in outdoor rugged smartphones. The Nomu S10 is the most low-priced of the currently available Rugged Phones from the manufacturer from Hong Kong. The S10 has a 5.0-inch HD display from SHARP and is powered by the MTK6757T quad-core processor. Also on board are 2GB of RAM and an expandable flash memory of 16GB. Of course, the mobile phone also has the IP68 certification.
The housing of the Nomu S10 is well protected against falls by extra rubber bumpers at the corners and is therefore a robust outdoor phone. The HD display (1280x720 pixels) is additionally protected against scratching with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The built-in aluminum titanium combined bracket contributes further to the sturdy construction. The quad-core MT6737T is used as a processor. The four-core processor has a maximum clock speed of 1.5GHz and is supported by 2GB of RAM and the Mali-T720 GPU. The internal memory of 16GB can be expanded effortlessly by hybrid SIM slot by a further 32GB.
As main camera, the young mobile phone manufacturer chose a 13.0 megapixel Sony IMX219 sensor (interpolated) with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 5-part lens, LED flash and features such as time-lapse or fast motion. The front camera comes with up to 5.0 megapixels and has an f/2.4 aperture.
As with normal smartphones, the Nomu S10 supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11a / b / g / n), GPS, A-GPS, OTG and FM radio. An electronic compass is also available to the user. The 5.000mAh battery is charged with microUSB. In terms of 4G connectivity, all frequencies and bands required for Europe, such as band 20 with 800MHz, are supported. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is used as the operating system.
