The Cubot J3 is the world’s first smartphone with a 5-inch 18:9 bezel-less screen. The budget phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go OS with 1GB of RAM, 16GB on-board storage and a quad-core processor.
The Cubot J3 is perfect for small screen lovers. The entry-level phone features a FWVGA+ display with 960 x 480-pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The mobile phone is powered by a low-budget MediaTek MT6580 quad-core chipset with 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM and an expandable internal storage of 16GB. The storage can be expanded by up to 64GB via separate TF card slot.
On the rear is an 8-megapixel camera sensor with auto focus and LED flash. The front-facing camera has 5.0MP with fixed focus and is used to unlock the smartphone with Face ID. The Cubot J3 comes with a detachable battery with 2000mAh. Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 2.4G (802.11 b/g/n), as well as GPS and A-GPS are also supported. The dual SIM phone has also a blue LED notification light. The low-cost Cubot J3 runs on Android Go out of the box.
