The difference between the Huawei Honor 30 Pro+ and the Honor 30 Pro is the 90Hz OLED display, up to 12GB RAM, its 50MP Sony IMX700 camera and the possibility of charging the phone wirelessly up to 27W with Qi Wireless charging technology. The Android phone sports a 6.57-inch OLED screen and and is powered by the latest HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G SoC, a dual core NPU and 256GB ROM. The Huawei Honor 30 Pro+ is equipped with a dual curved OLED screen with 2340 x 1080 pixels stretching over 6.57-inch with DCI-P3 and TÜV Rheinland certification. Under the hood is a HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G processor responsible to power the premium Android phone. The chipset has a maximum burst frequency of 2.86GHz. The SoC comes paired with a Mali-G77 GPU and a dual-core NPU. The Huawei Honor 30 Pro+ is available in three cool colors and two different variants – 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. Its internal storage can be expanded with the Huawei NM memory card.
In the camera department, the Honor 30 Pro+ has a total of three camera sensors on the rear. There is a Sony IMX700 lens with 50-megapixel lens supporting triple auto-focus and f/1.9 aperture. The second camera is a 16MP ultra wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture to capture beautiful panoramic views. The third camera is an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS and AF support and 50x digital zoom. On the front, the Honor 30 Pro Plus comes with a dual punch hole camera with 32-megapixel main sensor (f/2.0), accompanied by an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing camera is perfect to record videos for your vlog, take breathtaking selfies or to unlock the Android smartphone with facial recognition.
Like the Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro, the Honor 30 Pro+ has a battery capacity of 4,000mAh. The big difference is, that the Huawei Honor 30 Pro+ can not only be charged with up to 40W Huawei SuperCharge technology, but also with 27W Qi Wireless charging. The Honor 30 Pro+ features also a wide range of connectivity options including dual band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual 5G, VoLTE, and dual GPS, tri-band Beidou or dual Galileo for navigation purposes. The triple-camera phone is available in Black, Green, and Silver color and runs Magic UI 3.1.1 based on Android 10 OS. Thanks to its IP rating, the Huawei Honor 30 Pro+ is water resistant and dustproof. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
