Huawei has presented an innovation called nano memory card (NM card) the same time with their new Mate series lineup. The NM card uses less space and has the same size like a nano SIM card. More precisely, Huawei's NM cards are said to be 45 per cent smaller than a micro-SD.

The manufacturer of the new NM card is Toshiba. The card perfectly fits into the dual nano-SIM hybrid slot of the new Huawei P50 Pro phone and other devices like Mate 30 series, Huawei MatePad Pro Android tablet, Mate 20 series, P30 and P30 Pro, and Nova 5 series phones. In fact, the NM card works on only hybrid dual SIM slots. More so, the NM cards were revealed to read transfer speeds of 90MB/s.
