The Meizu V8 Pro features a 5.7-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Instead of going with the latest notch trend, Meizu has therefore decided to go against the flow by going back to the old 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The V8 Pro is similar to the Meizu M8 Advanced Edition, only featuring a Helio P22 octa-core processor instead of MTK6762.
The 5.7-inch notch-free display comes with HD resolution and can go as bright as 450 nits featuring 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The V8 Pro is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Unlike the V8, the Pro model has dual cameras on the rear – a 12MP f/2.2 sensor paired with a 5MP f/2.2 secondary sensor for capturing depth of field details. The front camera is a 5-megapixel f/1.9 sensor with AI beauty mode and support for AI face unlock. A fingerprint scanner is also available below the dual rear cameras.
The Meizu V8 Pro sports a 3100mAh battery, a MicroUSB port, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, dual 4G VoLTE and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The dual SIM phone runs with Flyme OS, based on Android 8 Oreo. It comes in Black and Gold.
