The Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition is the new bigger option form Redmi's new Ryzen Edition Pro Product Line. It is equipped with the new high-end Zen 3 Ryzen 5/7 APU (5600H/5800H) 512GB PCIe SSD, 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM and Radeon RX Vega 7/8 GPU all wrapped up in a CNC metal body. It also features the same FullView display for a truly immersive viewing experience with 100% sRGB color gamut from the Intel Version.
The RedmiBook Pro 15 comes with a new 4K 15.6 Inch Super Retina Display with a 3200 x 2000 pixels resolution, slim 4.3mm borders and a screen ratio of 89.1%. The display ratio is 16:10 with a high-definition anti-glare screen and a 178° wide viewing angle, 300nits brightness and 100% SRGB color gamut. It also passed TÜV Rheinlands Low Blue Light Certification.
The RedmiBook Pro 15 comes in two different variants one with Zen 3 AMD Ryzen 5 5600H, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and one with Zen 3 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The new Zen 3 microarchitecture offers a significantly higher IPC (instructions per clock) compared to Zen 2. AMD claims 19 percent on average and in applications reviews showed around 12% gains at the same clock speed, the CPU also support SMT / Hyperthreading. The chip is manufactured on the modern 7 nm TSMC process. In addition the APU also integrates a Radeon RX Vega integrated graphics processor. The dual channel memory controller supports DDR4-3200. Furthermore, 16 MB of L3 cache can be found on the chip.
The RedmiBook weighs just 1.8 kilos and has a thickness of 17.9mm. With the affordable RedmiBook Pro 15 you also get one USB 3.2 Gen1 3.2 port and a USB 2.0 port and two USB-C Ports, also a HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual band Wi-Fi ax with Wi-Fi 6 along with Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity. The laptop has a full-size keyboard with a travel distance of 1.3mm and a 125mm x 81.6mm, PTP touchpad.
