The Vivo NEX 3s is the new 5G flagship smartphone of the Chinese phone maker. It has a 6.89-inch waterfall screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 99.6%, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The new Vivo NEX 3s is powered by a liquid-cooled Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset and can be unlocked with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. One of the highlights of the Vivo NEX 3s is the curved waterfall display with 18.8:9 aspect ratio and a breathtaking screen-to-body ratio of 99.6%. The Super AMOLED display stretches 6.89-inches, supports HDR10+ and has a resolution of 2256x1080 pixels (363ppi). Compared to its predecessor you get a full upgrade on the processor. The NEX 3s runs on a Snapdragon 865 SoC with the X55 5G modem, an Adreno 650 GPU, LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage capacity.
At the back of the phone is a familiar triple-camera setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor. The 64MP lens is accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera sensor featuring 2x optical zoom. To achieve the incredible screen-to-body ratio of nearly 100%, the NEX 3s cell phone has a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera.
The Android phone packs a 4500mAh battery, which supports Vivo's 44W Flash Charge technology. You also get WiFi 6 and dual 5G support, making the NEX 3s future proof. The supported 5G mobile networks include non-autonomous (NSA) and autonomous (SA) architectures. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, OTG and GPS including Galileo. For audio it has an AK4377A Hi-Fi DAC on board. On the software front, the Vivo NEX 3s is running FunTouch OS 10 based on Android 10. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
