Not only have shipping costs risen to all time highs but it also is slower and more unreliable. Xiaomi rises now also in the virtual reality market. For this reason the Chinese manufacturers has presented the VR goggles Mi VR Play.

The Mi VR Play represents a mix of Samsung's Gear VR and Google Cardboard. The design is simpler than in the Gear VR and there all Android smartphones with a diagonal screen from 4.7 to 5.5 inches are supported and can be used. The Mi-VR App is not exclusively available for inhouse smartphones - which is so far the biggest feature of the Google Cardboard. The in-house app is available only in Chinese. The basis of the virtual reality glasses form the anti-reflective aspherical lenses. Using a double zipper the housing can be opened and closed to insert a smartphone. The housing consists of an elastane shell and looks very nice and feels very light. There is a metal button (Head Up button) at the top, which allows you to operate the phone. The operation is very easy. With your head movement you navigate and with the head-up button, the selection is made. The current version comes in dimensions of 201 × 107 × 91 mm, with a weight of 255 grams.
