The Cubot King Kong is a waterproof rugged smartphone for outdoor enthusiasts with IP68 certification. It sports a MediaTek MT6580 chipset with 1.3GHz, as well as 2GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory. The built-in battery has a capacity of 4400mAh.
The Cubot King Kong has a tempered 5-inch display. The IPS display has a resolution of 720x1280 pixels (294 ppi) and supports multi-touch. The device is powered by a low-budget MTK6580 with four cores and a maximum clock speed of 1.3 GHz. As GPU the ARM Mali-400 MP2 supports the SoC for graphics. The memory is 2 GB and the internal memory of 16GB can be extended with a microSD via the separate TF card slot by an additional 64GB.
The main camera on the rear of the Cubot KingKong is equipped with a 13 megapixel sensor (interpolated) with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and autofocus. The front camera with 8 MP (interpolated) is ideal for selfie or video calls with family or friends, even if you are out on an adventure.
GPS and A-GPS are featured too, as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi (802.1.1 b/g/n). The device is dual micro SIM capable, allowing you to use two different SIM cards.
