The Huawei Honor MagicBook 15 7nm Ryzen Edition 2020 comes with an updated Ryzen CPU and fingerprint scanner. The chassis is made of aluminum and it comes with a big 15.6-inch display. The laptop is powered by a Ryzen 7 4700U or Ryzen 5 4500U, 8GB or 16GB of RAM and a integrated AMD Radeon Graphics card. Despite the larger display and its high-end components inside, the Honor MagicBook 15 7nm Ryzen Edition weighs only 1.53 kilograms and is just 16.9mm thick.
The thin-and-light Windows notebook adopts a design which small side bezels, giving it an 87% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with a 15.6-inch Full-HD panel that features 141ppi (pixels per inch). The Huawei Honor MagicBook 15 7nm Ryzen Edition is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 4700U or Ryzen 5 4500U processor (APU). The 4700U combines four Zen+ cores (8 threads) clocked at 2.0 - 4.1 GHz with a Radeon graphics card clocked at up to 1600MHz. The processor is based on 7nm technology. The device is also equipped with 16GB or 8GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB SSD internal storage.
The MagicBook is just 16.9mm thick and weighs 1.53kg which means it isn’t only portable but also lightweight. In addition, it comes with two speakers and supports Dolby Atmos Sound System. The MagicBook packs a 42Wh battery which the company says can provide 12 hours of native 1080p video playback, 12 hours of web browsing, and 13 hours of document processing. After Acer, Dell, HP, and Lenovo Huawei is the fifth company to adopt AMD’s Ryzen Mobile.
