Meizu is back with the new M3 Max midrange phablet and puts the competition from Xiaomi, Huawei and ZTE with their phablet models Mi Max, P8 Max and Honor Note8, and the Z11 Max under pressure. Like the comparable devices of its competitors the M3 Max has an aluminum body, a 6-inch screen and the Helio P10 chip and 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage capacity which can be expanded via microSD card.
The display of the Meizu M3 Max has Full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels and comes with a pixel density of 368ppi. Inside the cell phone is a MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) with eight processor cores, which are divided into 4x ARM Cortex-A53 1.8GHz and 4x ARM Cortex-A53 1.0GHz. As graphics unit ARM Mali-T860 is used, and 3GB of RAM and an internal memory of 64GB. If there is a memory shortage you can eassily extend the storage by up to 128GB via microSD memory card.
The M3 Max phablet comes in a chic metal body. On the back is, same as with the Meizu M3E, the 13.0 MP SONY camera with IMX 258 sensor, and an f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and panorama mode. On the front we have a 4-part lense front camera with 5.0 MP and f/2.0 aperture.
The 4.100mAh strong battery is charged via USB Type-C connector and other features of the M3 Max are physical fingerprint sensor "mTouch 2.1", GPS, A-GPS, a digital compass, GLONASS, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.1. The operating system Flyme comes from Meizu itself. The new Flyme 5.2 version is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
