The Intel Core i5-8250U is a low-cost quad-core SoC for notebooks and ultrabook’s based on the Kaby-Lake architecture. The four CPU cores clock with 1.6 to 3.4GHz. The faster i7-8550U supports a burst frequency of 1.6 to 4.0GHz. All models come with a dedicated graphics chip, the NVIDIA GeForce MX110 with 2GB GDDR5 memory.
In addition, the notebook has 2x USB 3.0 ports with max 5Gbps transfer rate, as well as 1x USB 2.0 interface and a Gigabit Ethernet port. A 3.5 mm headphone jack and a 1.0-megapixel camera for video calls and a three-in-one SD Card Reader that supports SD/SDHC/SDXC are also available. The notebook comes with a large 40Wh battery, which is sufficient to watch almost 5.5 hours of videos or up to 6 hours of web surfing.
