Realme has released the X2 which is the first phone with the Snapdragon 730G chipset. The Realme X2 is the rebranded version of the Realme XT. The Realme X2 is available in three colors and three different versions – 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. The X2 features 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 which is functionally identical to OnePlus' 30W Warp Charging. The Realme X2 Android smartphone is equipped with a 64MP quad-camera on the rear and a 32MP selfie camera.
On the front, the Realme X2 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen to offer. The display supports Full HD+ resolution with 2340 x 1080 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.9%. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 730G. In this case, the G indicates that the GPU has a higher clock speed than phones with the regular Snapdragon 730. The SD730 is an octa-core processor with a maximum burst frequency of 2.2GHz. In addition, the Realme X2 comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and an expandable internal storage of 64GB or 128GB. Thanks to the separate microSD card slot, you can upgrade the storage capacity by an additional 256GB without sacrificing a SIM card slot.
The smartphone has four cameras on the back. The 64-megapixel main camera sensor (Samsung GW1) is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with 119°, a 2-megapixel macro camera for taking close-up shoots of 4cm and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The front camera inside the waterdrop notch is a 32-megapixel unit. The front camera for selfies can also be used for video calls or to unlock the smartphone with you face.
Connectivity options on the Realme X2 include dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G support. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The dual SIM phone comes with multi-functional NFC, GPS, Glonass and Beidou and the Realme X2 is running ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie with support of OTA updates.
